Good product. Bad packaging. They compressed the visor into a box 5 inches smaller than the visor. A dangerous gamble on warping the product to save money shipping in a smaller box...

Makes the HJC IS-17 Deadpool helmet look even better!Perfect fit, easy install and the price was fantastic.Provides less light penetration than the clear lens and adds additional privacy.Updated - Went from 5 stars to 1 star. The first time i tried to clean it with a damp micro-fiber cloth (after the 2nd use), the coating started to come off. Literally with water only.Now, it's just a regular, clear lens with no silver coating.Whatever they used to coat the lens is worthless and this face shield should be avoided.This was a total waste of money. Don't buy it!

It's a dark tinted shield. What isn't to like? You will look awesome during the day and you won't have to worry about sunglasses.Not very functional in suburban/rural dusk/night riding. It is tinted, so I usually end up flipping the visor up at night or putting in a clear shield. It really isn't safe to use at night. MAYBE you could get away with it at night in a brightly lit city, but you are definitely losing some visibility. I have panniers on my Triumph Tiger, so I always travel with a clear shield to be safe.

Excellent visor. Plenty dark to give that privacy look but light enough to be used at night. Optics are the same as the original clear visor. Easy change out between visors with no tools.
