I bought a brewery pack to make my own beer at home, but the thermometer came up broken so I had to get this one. It's a very good value and does the job perfectly fine!

reads much easier than most stick thermometers w/the international yellow background. can't recommend it for horizontal use - but anything approaching vertical within 45 degrees is fine.
