Quality is fantastic. I had to look up how to use this the correct way, which is easy enough to do these days with a simple video. If you're not familiar, please research for safety of your fingers especially. Personally I find this gives me peace of mind especially for bath time, and now that shes starting to feel like she's not completely "locked" into place it does seem to ease her anxiety so far. The quality of the metal itself is exactly what you need for equestrian equipment, has a nice weight to it, and the value that you get for the price seems to be comparable to others offered on the market here. Overall I'm very happy with this product. I find the leadline not my favorite material, as in it won't be the one I tend to grab first when needed, but it will definitely get used and added to my equipment - I think that's the only complaint I really have, but that's more personal preference. When I ordered this I saw the lead as more of a bonus item anyway. Overall 4.5/5 and I would recommend this set for anyone interested in more humane options for their pals if indicated.

I recently bought a colt, and I’m looking to do some groundwork with him, so this is the perfect way to start. The thing that I like about this type of mechanism, is that it gives the horse a way out. I often cringe at those videos of horses, panicking, when tied for a long periods of time, and I think there is a better way to do that. This was a nice choice, and I’m looking forward to using it with my new horse.

I have been on the hunt for one of these for months! My mare recently started setting back when she thinks you are going to tie her and walk away. At 16 years of age she knows better. But she sustained a copperhead bite and was standing tied and got very nervous next time. So we've been on the hunt for a blocker tie that will allow the lead to slip should it need to. We are working through the trauma of standing tied now. These are a wonderful tool for a horse of any age and background.
