Not too thin and not too thick. Keeps your feet warm and toasty. These are my fourth set of Hot Chili's.

They were taller and snuger than i had anticipated but not as warm as i had hoped.. I've used Nikken far infrared socks for years and was very happy with them. Unfortunately they are no longer available so I thought I would try another brand. Not as happy with them.

I like thin socks so these fit the bill. I also like stretchy socks that fit comfortably over my calfs and these do that. I find a lot of other ski socks do not stretch much at the opening, so it can be hard to fit them over my upper calf muscle (and no I don't have freakishly overdeveloped calf muscles). I have no idea why other brands make them that way, but these stretch and are very comfortable. Just for reference I have a size 13 wide foot, and find that the XL fits nicely.

Love this sock for skiing because it looks stylish, is thin, and doesn't strangle my legs just below the knees like another brand I've used. Durability seems to be hit or miss, though mostly a hit. A small hole has developed in two of six socks in the first season but no new holes during the second.

I prefer a very low volume sock for better skiing control and also because my feel stay warmer. Go figure. these are very comfortable and surprisingly sturdy for such a thin sock. Bought a bunch in case they ever decide to discontinue.

I use these socks for skiing and never have cold feet. I like how my feet never cramp up or become numb while wearing these socks. I now have 3 pair which will do me for extended trips this winter.

These will protect my sons shins when skiing. They fit and he says they are comfortable. He has not worn yet on slopes.
