!!!Won't go on unless strings are off violin!!! Got myself a new fingerboard to remember the placement. Did everything I could to put it on. And it just kept sticking to everything. I literally had to take all the strings off just to apply it. Ended up having to replace it because it lost it's stickiness... The installation was horrible. But the actual reason for purchasing is perfect.

I am an adult learning how to play the violin and this product helped me in the process.Pros: I think the labels and placements were pretty accurate. It does not have all the letters labeled but it does help me remember to place my fingers. And if I do forget, I can look at it to correct myself. It can also tell me if my violin is in tune or not by ear. Because I know that if my finger is placed on “A” it’s supposed to sound A, which is the first letter after the thick open string (G). I also like the style how it is simple black and white contrast for the letters.Cons: I just hope that the borders are not blue, but was kept as black. Since it could match with my white violin with black frets, which I assume most of them, at least the electric ones have black frets. The overall adhesive was pretty good as well and easy to install. I did not have any creases or had to take multiple times to readjust it. However, since the sides are bigger than the fret board, the some areas on the corners of the stickers are popping off.Overall, I’d still choose this over other Violin stickers.

I think that this concept is a good one but if you're not dedicated you're still not going to be able to play like you want to. this would be good to start out for children though if you don't want to use tape on your violin. It does get a little sticky though. I would say it's definitely worth it to try especially for the cheap price.

showed up in a flimsy plastic envelope, bent and dented. after a few minutes of straightening it out, it became usable, however, while trying to install it, it kept folding on top of itself where it was bent during shipping. It is too wide for the neck of the violin, so expect annoying paper sticking out. Not the greatest product, but i guess you cant expect much more for 3 bucks.

This was a good buy. It does help to place your fingers on the string. My only drawback on this product is that it was somewhat difficult to install without removing the strings. I did not want to do that so it took a lot of patience to get it placed correctly and I still ended up with one crease, but overall I would buy again.

I bought this for myself as i decided to start playing the violin at age 27 and the fingerings in such a small area are very hard to get your fingers placed properly to sound right this was definitly worth the money

Seemed to work pretty well, although it was too wide for the neck and felt too strange, so I took it off.
