Pros:- Note for note transcriptions- Introductory lesson teaching the basics of blues and the guitar styles of Wolf's songs- Detailed descriptions and miniature lesson preceding each song- Great photos of the Wolf in actionCons:- Poor song selection, most of Wolf's most popular songs are not included in this book. Specifically missing songs are: Spoonful, Back Door Man, I Ain't Superstitious, Built for Comfort, Evil, Little Red Rooster, and Wang Dang Doodle. All of these songs can be found in the, Willie Dixon tab book, but unfortunately, "Three Hundred Pounds of Joy", ""I Asked for Water", "Shake for Me" are not transcribed anywhere.For Howlin Wolf fans this book needs to be supplemented with the Willie Dixon tab book, but even then many of his most famous songs are missing. Why?

howlin wolf war nicht nur ein guter bluessänger sondern auch ein toller guitarplayer obwohl natürlich hubert sumlin für die lead guitar meist zuständig war .Die tabulaturen ansonsten sind gut nachvollziehbar,sodas man einen guten einblick in die giarrenarbeit der beiden bekommt
