Flexible, high temp, seems to be air impervious. Used for 2 ft connections at tank on radiant heating application for quick solution. In operation at 160 deg F for 6 months now and flawless. Might leave permanently as bending 1" pex-al-pex is hard in short distances and can be prone to extra stresses on fitting etc. This was easy.. expensive-yes. But worth it to me.
