The first shipment contained a lot of chrome defects. I ordered a replacement and between both shipments I managed to combine the best parts from each and attach it to my bike, a 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic. I did not have to modify anything to install it, everything lined up and it looks/functions great. The backrest pad is very close to my stock seats, I really can’t see a difference. The only problem is the bolts are rusting (not the head, just the threaded part) so I think I’m going to replace them with stainless steel bolts. One bolt is also bent, as you can see in the photo. Replacing the bolts isn’t a big deal, but it would have been nice if they were better quality. If you have a Vulcan similar to mine, I recommend taking a chance on this. Worst case is you might have to order a replacement like I did but in the end it worked out. The company was quick to send a replacement, so that’s good. They do need better quality control though.

I was surprised to see that it was like new, I don’t believe anyone even installed this before, and if they did their warehouse did a really good job to make sure it was cleaned and well packaged.Just as described comes with hardware for a perfect fit on Vulcan classic. With or with out the spacer.

You either have to add spacers to fender side of mount brackets to mount INSIDE or you will have to mount backrest OUTSIDE the brackets. Was missing 2 of the longer bolts. Had 2 long bolts and 4 short bolts in package. Hope they'll send me 2 long bolts so I don't have to buy them

Mediocre quality at best. The pad was very loose and didn't come with a complete zipper. Needed spacers to put on. Even with the spacers, it didn't fit properly. Had to bend the metal to fit since the legs were bowed out improperly. It didn't come with instructions either. I just looked at pictures from others buyers reviews. BUT, it's in the cheap and does the job. Looks fairly nice as well at a quick glance

Installed on my second bike. Looks great, I did need to do a little modding. Once installed it’s sturdy very well put together. Very comfortable of a ride for a passenger.

didn't fit.. not even close.. I have a 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500. The bolts were too long on the back rest part and the mounting bolts to the frame were way too short. and no I didn't have them reversed. instead of the brackets being on the outside I had to put them on the inside to make it fit, and still scratched the paint installing it.. the chrome on the base bracket were pitted on the inside. as far as the seat goes.. it looks good, feels good
