If you create projects with HTV, sublimation with a heat press, etc., this is a gadget you never knew you needed until you experience it!After you've heat-pressed an item, it's always a waiting game to be able to pull off the HTV backing, or be able to pick up the item that was pressed due to the heat. If you're making multiple items, it takes forever to wait until things cool to move them off the platform you're working on, so you don't accidentally mess them up. That is where this slab of very thick glass with two handles (because it's HEAVY) comes in handy. After you press your item, place the cooling block over the item. The glass pulls the heat out and away of the item more quickly than letting it air cool. For even faster results, you can apparently put this block in the refrigerator or freezer to make it really cold first. They suggest two in this case, so you can swap them out. I only have the one, and don't chill it down, but it definitely works fast enough for me.Is it an absolute necessity to have? No. Does it work well? Yes. Is it worth the price? I'm going to leave that up to you - it takes time to let things cool, and time is money (especially if you're making things to sell). If you use a heat-press often though, I definitely recommend!

The HTV Cooling Block is a game-changer for anyone working with sublimation, iron-on vinyl, or DTF film. It cools down transfers quickly and evenly without smudging or shifting designs. The 10" x 10" size is perfect for T-shirts and other fabric projects, making the process much more efficient. The build quality feels sturdy, and it truly helps speed up production while improving the final results. If you're serious about heat transfer projects, this is an essential tool! Highly recommend!

This 10" X 10" HTV Cooling Block is really a nice thing to have! Just place it on your project after pressing the vinyl, sublimation, etc. It works great! It is heavy, but it does the job well! Very happy with this!

Holy moly, I expected this to be acrylic or something but it is HEAVY! Not exactly sure what it is made out but some sort of glass-like material for sure.Great weight and definitely keeps cool on its own. Great for pressing vinyl and also shrinky dinks!Be prepared to be a bit gentle with it. I do worry about cracking and breaking. And at nearly 8# you can get a good workout in too.

This cooling block is just the thing that I didn’t know I needed…and now I can’t live without it. I usually put heavy things on some of my sublimated projects (like magnets or neoprene things) to stop them from bending as they’re cooling but now I can just put this cooling block on top of them and it cools them faster and stops warping! And i can just leave my projects on my autopress and put the cooling block on top of them so I do t have to move them and risk ghosting. You can put it in the freezer or refrigerator but I find it cools the projects well without going either of those things. It’s beautifully made and definitely worth the money!

I wasn't sure how helpful this would be but found it more useful than expected. I was sublimating a bunch of shirts and after I press, I find it too hot to remove them right away. So, I'd press this on them and then they would cool down enough to be moved. Helped speed things up. This weighs a bit, but I guess that is good.
