Nice and beefy. Much better than the "universal" type that only have "L" brackets. Had absolutely no drilling to do in the frame. Good instructions. Complete installation only took about 45 minutes by myself without help.

On a 2004 F250 FX4 Lariat Crew cab short bed.I ordered this bracket and Husky rail system because I was given a Husky 5th wheel hitch.First, the good stuff. The install wasn't too difficult. No drilling into the frame (just the bed). The instructions are fairly straight forward with some type-o's in regards to the bolt head sizes. (Find the right size). All items look great and construction is top notch. The not so good. First of all, this is a four bolt (two per rail) system as opposed to the more common 10 bolt. So instead of flush carriage bolts below the (smooth) rails, there are 4 large hex bolts sticking up 3/4" above the rails (2" above the bed). So, where you might be able to lay plywood or even dry-wall on on a 10 bolt system without fear of damage, These hex bolts will tear up your material unless you lay some protection down first. Secondly, the bolt holes don't always line up perfectly with the corrugation on the bed. So the blocks that are provided for taking up space are useless when this happens as they are not slotted. You'll have to cut your own slots if this happens to you. Thirdly, it may have been just me, but I found the large threaded blocks easy to cross thread. Just catch it early and don't force anything. Lastly, I'll be installing airbags and am a little concerned that brackets might keep that from happening. There's nothing in the product description that says it'll be a problem. If it is, I'll have to return the brackets and find something else.If none of the above issues affect you, then your star rating would be better than mine. This is a well made and functional product.
