Wanted to warn anyone that wants to purchase this product. It is NOT a 10" drop, what they're saying is the bottom hole is 10" and it is. However this is not a regular hitch. This is a weight distribution hitch, and most have 2 holes, and the ball is higher than the second hole. So technically this is about a 6.25" drop, which is exactly what I needed. The shank is only about 1.5" longer than a 3" drop equilizer hitch as seen in the pictures. The holes go further down so you ypu actually are closer to 6.25" drop. This is comparison with a 14K Equalizer Hitch extended hitch shank #90-02-4500. This extention is not so long, about 15" extention or so, the equalizer is 18" which is a bit long. All in all, this definitely works for my 2024 Ram 3500, and has one more drop hole when I put on my 35" tires. Product actually looks better than equilizer, but is rated lower at 14k when it probably should be 22k. Put the 3" drop directly on top of the Husky shank for real world comparison.

I bought a Rockwood 2608BS which required my to upgrade my pickup so I moved up to a RAM 2500 4x4. The WDH I purchased was the Huskey Centerline 1.4k Hitch. The shank it comes with only gives you an inch of drop and requires me to use a sleeve on the shank to fit my 2 1/2 receiver. Unfortunately 1 inch of drop isn't enough and the front of trailer sits a little high. This gives me enough drop to make up for the height of the 4x4 and also extends the length to clear the tailgate when open. It seems well made and it's quite heavy. However, I do like it much better than the I-Beam shanks I've seen. It seems to fit my receiver well too.

Works as intended and I can’t believe I’m going to say something negative about something being over done - but 36 lbs ? Solid metal - which I mean has its advantages for sure will survive the test of time under any condition but other comparable safe 10-15 lbs Otherwise zero complaints and works as I would expect

Works for me, but not sure where the 14" measurement comes from. From the hitch pin hole to the bolt hole for my WDH system is 12". The overall length of the shank is 16". But overall does what I wanted increasing the distance from the trailer to the truck so I can open the tailgate and haul bikes in the back.

Best part has to be that this shank now allows me to open my tailgate when hitched up to the trailer!! Extremely solid steel. Has a gross weight rating of 14000 lbs. Lowered my trailer tongue to super low 21.5 inches on my 2017 F250 with 2 inch lift.
