Im a home owner with a dense wooded area behind my home. I have to prune branches frequently to prevent them falling into my yard.I own the Echo PAS gas interchangeable system (edger, trimmer, blower) and a DeWalt 20V MAX electric 8" Pole Saw.This 10" gas pole saw delivers a considerable amount of power over my 8" electric DeWalt, but I did notice some things about the DeWalt I liked more. The blade is on the DeWalt is angled which helps to apply downward pressure to high up branches. The blade on the Husqvarna is straight like a chainsaw. If the blade was angled then higher branches would be easier to cut.Other than the angle of the blade I think this saw does a really good job. I have a easier time with larger branches and a ladder helps me get a little extra reach.Don't forget to wear a hard hat when cutting heavy branches overhead!

I already have a Husqvarna Rancher 460 24" gas chain saw and also a Husqvarna grass trimmer. So when this came available I had to grab it. This make sit easy to trim higher up branches than I could get with my pruners or my regular chainsaw. It will cut pretty decent size limbs with my feet on the ground where before I had to put a ladder up or climb the tree, neither of which is ideal or safe. This works good just like any other Husqvarna tool I've used and I expect it will get lots of use and it should last a good long time.

This being the first multi tool attachment style tool this thing is a beast and built well. I agree with other reviewers that the length of it might not be ideal for people with tall trees, but was perfect for me. This thing cuts wood like butter and the motor is plenty powerful. The muli head tool attachment makes this a value as other parts can be bought to create flexibility in applications.

I had a dangerous limb that was rotten on the bottom. I needed to stay away from it when it snapped. Sure enough, this gave me plenty of reach and cut through it easily. I will say it's not as powerful as a non extended chain saw, but I had no issue. Started right up. The benefit of this model is it also can accommodate a weed eater attachment, so I only need one tool for two jobs. Recommend!

UPDATE: Cannot adjust the carburetor to get this to run. A separate tool needs to be purchased in order to adjust it.This is the first Husky product I’ve used that wasn’t made in the USA. It kind of shows. This was made for home owners, not heavy users or professionals, as is evident in the price. But it’s a good value! I had some trouble getting it started, but it is about 20 degrees Fahrenheit at our homestead right now. I also had some trouble getting higher RPM’s after start up. After a few minutes of warming it up, I performed what I would consider a normal break-in period by running progressively higher RPM’s for a couple minutes each until I could get a reasonably high RPM. It may take more time running to completely break in because the engine still has a tight sound emanating from the cover. It cut well considering that it is a pretty small machine, and I didn’t really expect it to cut like my bigger saws. At full throttle it hunts around a bit for top RPM, which may also improve with more break in time. I put in new fuel so I don’t think that is the cause of this issue. There is a QR code on the machine to aid in registration but it wouldn’t work because it did not recognize the model number. I did an online chat with customer service and that person couldn’t figure out how to input unrecognized model numbers either, so she passed it on to tech and I eventually got an email saying they were successful in registering it.Considering the price point on this tool and the overall condition/quality/ appearance, I think this is a 4 star product.I am 5’11” and was able to reach limbs that were close to 12 feet, so the listing is a bit off when it says it can reach 12 inches…
