The lift came in 2 pieces, and one is very heavy. It appears to be very sturdy, but I just received it, and so far, seems like a very capable lift. The complaint that I have is the assembly instructions to connect the two major pieces is not very useful, and the heavy pieces are difficult to lift and manuver to assemble. It would be very helpful to have a helper to assist with the assembly, bur I was finally able to put it together myself. I did use a cherry picker to lift the heavy base out of the box and position it for assemby. There are two ends to the sissors which need to be attached and they can only be positioned one way and the sissor part to attach is heavy (again, it would be helpful to have a helper). What would really help is for the 4 sissor ends (each sissor end has 2 ends) to be labled with numbers or colors so that it would be easy to know how the sissors are to be connected. If the assembly would have been easier, I would give it 5 stars.
