I wanted to wait and give plenty of time for this “UV” filter - essentially a power head with a supposed UV light bulb and some porous foam - to have an impact on my tank. I have to report that there has been no change in the amount of algae buildup in my tank. Unfortunately, waiting as long as I did - I can no longer return the product (totally my fault) - so it’s just a fixture in the corner of my tank at this point. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this product.

great product it works great had it running for two days and my water was crystal clear it also has a great filer system easy to clean and replace filter i would say if you have green water this is the product for you

Purchased and used this filter for roughly 6 weeks. I do not see any great advantages from this filter. Claims it will clear the water … does NOT. Also the UV light isn’t visible so there is no way to see if it is even on, let alone working correctly. Would not recommend this product. Only advantage is two flows of water to circulate and re-oxygenize. Circulation out of the underwater spout (not a very strong flow, medium ant best) and re-oxygenation through the above water arm (does clog and needs to be clear every 3-4 weeks).

Super quite, easy to assemble, I've had a green water problem for over a year, constant water changes, every chemical I could imagine. Nothing helped.... omg thus machine by far is the best investment I have ever made for my tank. Crystal clear water within 2-3 days, and it's been going on a month, and my tank looks brand new... thank you so much. I love your products.
