I finally had a chance to use this ND filter. I love the magnetic feature which allows for easy removal and replacement. I’m going to have to buy different densities now.

If you're in the market for an ND filter, I couldn't recommend this one enough because it's a magnetic filter. I've used screw filters all the time with my lenses, and it can be a little annoying when you're in the field. The magnetic filter lets you pop it on and off quickly and efficiently, so you can continue your shoot faster. The quality of the ND filter is good, I haven't seen any color shifts or issues with focusing. I think the quality is good overall as more of a prosumer user. The ring you attach to the lens seems solid and durable, and the magnet on the filter is fairly strong. I was surprised the first time I used it, as I thought it would be an easy pull-off, but you need to put a bit more oomph into it. One issue I did find is that if you're stacking filters, you'll get some vignetting on wider apertures. Other than that, I think this is a good ND filter.

My first experience with Ice filters was more than a few years ago, and was its line of 150x100mm graduated ND filters. Those filters were great; I used them for many landscape shots without issue. That previous experience set a pretty high standard for this to live up to, and Ice has knocked it out of the park. The filter is super thin, has no color cast, and doesn't add any noticeable flaring. The magnets are super strong, all at half the price that Freewell is asking for its magnetic mount filters.

I picked up this the 10 stop filter and the 6 stop filter hoping to replace my very expensive original ND filters. I'd used ICE filters in the past and was pleased with the quality at the price point. These are no different. The construction of these filters is wonderful. They are very thin, even the magnet ring and filter together would fit into a larger filter case that held other filters. The magnet is plenty strong so you don't worry about losing the filter. In fact, the magnet is so strong removing the filter can be a challenge at times -- but this is good. The magnet ring threads on and off of my step-up ring easily. The image quality has some flaws, but is definitely useable. I compared these filters to my original non-magnet but very-expensive filters I've used clumsily for years. I don't see much if any degradation in sharpness between the two filters options (these & the pricey option). These ICE filters gave a stronger color shift, turning the image rather warm. Yes, a warm image on a Sony camera. The color shift is no problem at all because that can easily be changed in editing software. The one real problem is that there was also a significant amount of added vignetting when using these ICE filters over the other filters I tried. The darkness of this vignette can be fixed, but the lose of sharpness and general IQ in the corners could be an issue. If you shoot landscapes with your ND filters, you will want to keep this in mind. If you use NDs to shoot urban long exposures and traffic this vignetting will be far less important of a problem. Again, I was comparing these filters to filters that don't have magnets and still cost three times as much. Overall, these are not perfect but I think they work very well when compared to other magnet ND filter options at this price.

What a great design - Consider me a fan of these!I was hesitant at first because having something as expensive as a quality lens filter held on by only magnets seems a little unwise, but the magnet is super strong. Like impressively strong!Anyone who has been out in the woods doing photography with filters knows how nerve wracking it can be to screw expensive filters on & off. The constant fear of dropping or mis-threading can be fatiguing. These are a great solution for not only that, but any scenario where you might need to change filters quickly. These will come in handy for my mirrorless Sony cameras when doing video for sure. They make switching from 1 stop, to 3 stop, to 6 stop NDs almost as quickly as having them built in!Thumbs up :)
