This has an entirely different electrical connection than OEM. This POS doesn’t work even after I swapped out connectors

JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK.... and only 30 days to buy, ship, install, test and determine if something else is actually the issue ... only to find out the part you replaced was defective and you're outside the return window as well as wasted hours of time only to determine you bought a piece of crap, when is Amazon going to actually address the problem of poor products with only a small return window to determine how poor the product is !!!

This part does not work as advertised. It does not work on my Mercruiser 5.0. When I purchased the same part from a Mercruiser authorized marine parts store, it worked perfectly. It appears the part sold on Amazon is not compatible as they claim and doesn't communicate properly with the onboard engine computer. I am all about DIY, but this was a $50 lesson to learn that you can save money on labor costs, but you shouldn't try to save money on less than OEM parts from an authorized dealer.
