I have a 2009 Subaru Forester and my OEM bolt threads rotate the other direction. Picture is, probably obviously, my original next to this one. Thankfully, this wasn't the only one I bought. But if you are considering buying this, check the rotation of your existing bolt first.

The mounting rod was mismatched. I had to clean and reuse the old (rusted) rod in order to finish the replacement of an AC compressor. Other parts were OK. 1998 Subaru Legacy Limited Outback.
