youre taking a chance by getting something like this. go a different route and buy a better blanket or clothes or sleeping bag

I have camped a lot in my life in northern areas and there is often that first period of time in the evening and morning when I would be cold, or even wake up cold during the night. With my truck camper cab over the bed would be the last place to warm up due to the heater location. This heated pad really makes a more inviting and comfortable experience by putting warmth right where you want it.

Cannot even feel warmth coming from it, had it on 100% for two hours. It looks like the one I received was a return...seems used, had light debris on it. I need to return it.

Love everything about this pad, but one thing, maybe two. Best in class design, materials, and concept. True, it’s pricy; like a lot … but I will pay a premium for a toasty sleep on a snowy night. (Last week spent 3 nights outside Yosemite and a cheapie e-blanket was like a miracle.) They also tell you the blanket sucks electrons, all 50 watts on high, and boy are they right! The controls are nice but 10 settings of very mild warmth, after awhile, is aspirational not actual. The rub is that the pad is not warm enough to be useful. Headed back. Too bad. Thinking maybe the trucker angle is better.
