The only downside is if you are planning on using two of these in different children’s rooms, you cannot connect them to the same device at the same time. So if you’re going to play an audio book before bed, or the same music, for example, have two different devices ready.

Gave it to a friend. He said it worked well. Every time his 4-month old woke, the sensor helped her get back to sleep. This won’t fix colic, but it may help your kid get some rest.

At first I was worried that because I don’t have an iPhone, this noisemaker wouldn’t work because it is a iHome product but it connects to any phone. It has a power cord for the wall and a back up battery, which is great in case of a power outage. There is a remote and sooo many functions. The light gets very bright but also can be turned completely off. The sound also gets pretty loud. I like that I can play music from my phone to the noisemaker, makes for a fun dance party. It is easy to save a preset. My only complaint is that it is very sensitive, the advanced settings buttons are on the bottom side of the ball and barely brushing them by picking it up and rotating it makes what is happening on the noisemaker change.

This is a great sound machine. Quality is top-notch as all of their products (been using iHome products for over 8 years).Special features such as Bluetooth connectivity, cry detector, shu shu automatic feature and remote are competitive advantages over other sound machines.Design is pretty cool, not too small not too big. Buttons are under the sphere and is easy to operate. A bit confusing the set up of wake up and shut off timer for light and sounds but follow instructions and would be easy.The silver line at the top is how you can change the color of the lamp, and you can also lock it so the little one does not play with it.Definitely great product for nursery but most importantly it can grow with the baby to keep using the other features. For me, Bluetooth is one of those things I will also be using since it can be used as a regular speaker to listen to your music, meditation practice or anything you want.The only thing to consider is that it does not have built-in battery, so if electricity is out, so this device.

We've been using this IHome Sound Machine for quite some time now and so far there’s nothing bad I can say about this one. You can plug it in or use it wirelessly if it’s charged. It has alot of different sounds, light and colors. It has a remote that you can use from another room which is really nice. It can connect to your phone to play your own music if you want; amazing feature! The lights are pretty bright which my Grandaughter likes. Very good Quality and Excellent Value!

I ordered this for when we travel. We use the Ambient Noise skill on our Alexa device in our toddler's room for naps and bedtime. It can be played from a phone as well, so I was thinking I would connect via bluetooth and play it for her but the built in sounds are pretty good too. I probably won't use the presets or the cry detector since its literally just for when we're out of the home, and she's a little big for shushing. I was playing around with it a bit after it arrived. I like the remote, and the easy to access buttons on the back of the unit. It also has a built in battery. I'm not sure how long its expected to last but its nice in case you forget to pack the power cord or lose power. Might have to get another for baby #2!
