Works well, but takes some practice. Getting the temperature set is key, so plan to make some test runs. Also be careful when pressing. The lever can shift on its hinge if you apply to much pressure, which isn't really necessary to get a good seal.

Awesome item, very useful in my small shipping company. I can actually fuse multiple pieces together if you do it right to make my pieces twice as long as the machine itself! works very well, has a heat level knob thats adjustable, extremely easy to use. all you need to do is plug it in and you're ready to go. it only "triggers" when you press down on the lever which is spring-loaded to stay in an open position. very value for your money.very strong and durable seal.

I gave this a try to seal up some pouches for sorting some parts into.This worked very well for that purpose, I was able to make, fill, and seal 12 pouches from one section of plastic bag material.This gave me zero issue while doing that, and has enough clearance around it that the already filled sections were not getting in the way when I was working.I found that the best setting for the roll of plastic I was using was about 2.5 on the dial.The dial goes up to 8, so it has plenty of overhead to work with thicker material.I gave it a try with various types of bags, you do have to adjust the setting a bit when switching bag type, but not by much.I was even able to reseal an open potato chip bag. I had to turn it up a bit for that to work due to the oily contamination on the inside of the bag, but it did seal the bag.The only issue I had was due to not waiting long enough after it had turned off, you need to wait about 6 seconds before lifting the handle, or you newly sealed section of bag may shrivel into a narrow line. It is still sealed, but not as nice looking.The width on this is excellent for giving you clearance to work with wider and longer bags, you can cut off a longer section of your roll when using rolled stock, and are still able to seal down it length wise to make multiple sections.The visibility of the heating strip is nice, it makes it easier to position properly for your next seal, unlike the home vacuum sealers that I have used in the past. For some reason they always bury the heating strip inside where you can't see it.Overall this is a good sealer, I wish I had one of these years ago, it is so much easier to use for just sealing than a vacuum sealer.
