I wanted a second incense burner for another room, something that looked good but still did the job. When I came across this one, the price sealed the deal. It opens like a lotus flower and can hold up to six incense sticks, with a center design that helps manage ash fall better than most burners I’ve used.It also comes with a black mat and a removable center piece, which lets you burn a single stick more cleanly and keep things contained. The lotus leaf design adds both beauty and function .... it really is a lovely piece for the price.Side note (because it’s real life): if you’ve got fans blowing or the windows open, the ash will fly—just something to keep in mind. 😄Pretty, practical, and well-priced, I’m glad I grabbed it.

Ok, considering the price, this is NOT BAD AT ALL. What you need to know here is that its REALLY ONLY MADE FOR STICKLESS INCENSE (as in shaped like a stick, but with no wooden stick inside) OR CONES.The base is not deep or heavy enough to support standard stick incense, it will just tip over (and likely start a fire lol)... But, the shorter, 'no-wooden-stick' style incense sticks would fit perfectly and be light enough to stand perfectly upright. Guess I need to get some and find out... I don't think Gonesh or Triloka make those (the TWO BEST INCENSE COMPANIES OUT THERE)... but I'll dig in and find out. For the price here, it's hard to complain. GIDDYUP!

This incense holder works okay, but only for short thick sticks. The “standard” size with a tapered/thinner bottom kept leaving over. It also wasn’t as useful as a catcher, because the stick was longer. Maybe it should be more obviously marked what size it’s for?It was simple enough to set it up. The dish comes in three pieces. The larger catcher (which can be removed for cleaning, or as a separate tea saucer in the description), the main double-layered stick holder, and an optional extender/holder. The first two work great. The stick fits in okay—mine was just too long—and then sets up to catch the ash. The extender didn’t have any way to hold on to anything else so it kept sliding off. Because of this, and the wrong size sticks I had, the ashes ended up all over the mat instead. All the pieces are made of a sturdy metal. It’s really pretty, with details the photos don’t do justice. It’s easy enough to wipe down. I do love the main design a lot. I’d like to see this in a larger size or with a stronger extender so that it can use variable length sticks more easily. The ones I had are a “standard” that I’ve seen but I know longer options exist too. Those wouldn’t stay on this at all.
