Product Description

How does the system work

哦哦哦

UltraCrab indoor pet barrier keeps pet away from a certain zone, such as the furniture, counters, trash can, dirt ground and more.

The barrier transmitter sends a oval radio signal. While the pet wearing a collar enters into the signal area, it’ll hear a series of warning tones. If it moves on, the collar will deliver a safe progressive static correction.

The static correction will get pets away. The static correction voltage is a low safety voltage that may not be effective for pets with strong tolerance.

Powered by a 5V power supply, it can be used outdoors through a power bank or in the car through a cigarette lighter.

2 labs who loved the couches. Not anymore. The beep is enough to keep them away.

We picked up a pair of these wireless barriers to keep our dogs from going into the kitchen and jumping on the counters. We needed two in order to have enough collars. Fortunately, they operate on the same frequency so both collars worked with either transmitter. To use them, you just activate the collars and put them on your pets. You then set a power rating on the transmitter from 1 to 3 (1 being weakest). Ours was set to 2 and seemed to keep the dogs a good 6-7 feet away which was what we needed. During operation, we observed that when the dogs got too close, the collar would first emit a beeper/buzzer sound letting the dog know they were close. If they keep getting closer, it gives them a mild shock. From the way one of my dogs reacted, I suspect it may increase the level of shock if they try get closer yet. While I'm not a fan of shocking my dogs, they quickly learned to obey the noise warning and stayed away from the area. After a couple of weeks, we found we didn't even need the collars anymore, they continue to avoid the kitchen without additional help.Overall, we found these to be extremely useful in keeping our dogs out of certain spaces without the need for physical barriers. We are quite happy with the performance of these devices and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Because I ordered two, each with a slight different part number, I’m mostly repeating my review here. We have two puppies that we did not want going upstairs unattended because we just replaced flooring. It seemed and was a great idea. It works well and after a while, the puppies won’t venture going upstairs even when the sensor/transmitter is not in place. Because we got two, one for each dog, we found out that we could use one of the sensor/transmitters in one place and the other someplace else, thus creating two unreachable zones in the house. The only issue was that it seems to be built for a very limited range. When I tried to prevent the puppies from going to a part of the living room, they quickly figured out that by going in a few extra feet away from the sensors, they wouldn’t encounter any obstacles. But this is not necessarily bad. If the range was wider, it would be difficult for the pets to be anywhere in the house. They sell other sensors, but if you leave it to order later, you may not find them anymore. I say that based on experience buy gadgets that are not from known brands. Maybe this will be different, but I wouldn’t count on it.Lastly, our puppies like to play around the sprinklers and so far, the collars have survived well. I’m just waiting to see how long the batteries charge will last. I really like that they’re rechargeable.

I love that this is not overly aggressive when the dogs do something wrong, they are just given a small zap to remind them that they aren't supposed to cross a boundary. The second time, it gets a little stronger, but I haven't had the dogs "forget" more than twice. I like how it increases a little when they violate the boundary. I tried it on me and was able to move, talk, etc. after being zapped the third time, so I think the dogs will be okay.

I cannot say enough good things about these pet barriers. I have reviewed several of these so far, and I can say that they have all functioned as advertised, connect easily for one connected barrier system, and all the connected collars work. These are easy to set up and move about your home. I haven't made them permanent, but you could if you wished. The barrier devices themselves require a power source so that is really the only thing really limiting where you can place one.The collars are adjustable and fit a wide range of pets. They stay on my dogs and they are easy to charge and depending on use, I can get several days out of them. Your mileage may vary. Overall my dogs have adapted well to these barriers and have figured it out pretty well, along with some positive reinforcement and some patience, I think most dogs will like it.I like the first warning the dogs get is audible and followed up by a static shock which is much safer than just being zapped. It's safe for your pet, and it's just enough that gets their attention to get out of the zone. So if you are worried about harming your pet, then just know the setting isn't enough to hurt or even feel like you are punishing them or them feeling like they are being harmed. This is an effective system and for the price it's a great deal. The only question I have at the moment, would be how many of these barrier kits can be connected together. I think I read that it is limitless, but I haven't been able to officially get an answer. Anyways, this gets a 5/5 star rating.
