Needs a bottom bracket to hold it in place. The tube goes thru a whole in the inner fender and had a nasty tendence to rattle and it the side of the inner fender.

As far as I know, this only fits 2005-2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i. I made the mistake of ordering the Injen SP1202 first which doesn't fit the 2.5i. Anyways, I exchanged the SP1202 out for the SP1222 at no additional cost. Easy to install but front bumper must be removed, which is also easy. If you're uncomfortable installing yourself I'm sure you could find a repair shop to make the install instead.The intake produces great sound. The filter that comes with it, unlike K&N, does not require oil. It's a dry filter, which can be vacuumed once a year. Only downside for me is my car - I have an automatic so my HP and torque gains aren't as easily felt but I definitely notice a healthy difference while driving. Should feel even more once I get a new exhaust system. More airflow into the engine should be followed by better outflow, IMO.
