I can already tell you that it fits both x4 and x5 perfectly as I have all the models, it will obviously not fit the Insta 1 inch, but fits even the x3 (little wig wrong in there but its not a big deal), its better protection than the stock case for a fact, something you can have your camera in, and attach it to the outside of the backpack, just give you more space and provide great protections, and the screen protectors work but I like it without it

The case is great, much firmer and protective than the one that comes with x4 bundle. The dome area is loose enough to accommodate the "lens cap" so you get double protection where it counts the most. The lens cap itself is great if you want a smaller package to throw in your bag for a day. The included cloths are halfway between a one-use tissue and soft cloth. Both of those have their advantages, but this halfway version I'll ignore. I don't plan on using the screen protector either; not because it's lacking in any way but because the touch capabilities are far more important to me than if I get scratches, and I don't want anything that could impede that. For the price this is a great deal, much better than what Insta 360 is offering, and a worthy upgrade for your system.

I’m pretty sure this kit was originally made for the X4 and just relabeled for the X5—but it still works well. The screen protectors fit just fine, and the case, while a little roomy for the slimmer X5, does exactly what I need: it lets me keep the X5 mounted on a selfie stick and zip everything up without having to detach it. That makes it perfect for travel or quick storage. It also includes a nice silicone lens cap (a good backup if you ever lose the original), two tempered glass screen protectors with install tools, and a carabiner for easy carry. For under $17, it’s a solid starter protection kit for X4 or X5 users. Just keep in mind that the case isn’t as snug a fit for the X5—but it still offers plenty of protection.

All protectors fit and quality is good. Screen protector was easy to install. It is slightly raised but does not affect touch. Silicon lens protector is easy to take on and off. Case fit well with the lens protector on or off. The shell is solid but soft to touch. Caribiner is handy to have. Great addition to my X4 accessories.

Did you just get a brand new 360 camera and want to know what accessories you need to protect your gear? Look no further! I've owned several 360 cameras over the years and I'm accustomed to purchasing the lens cap, camera case, and screen protectors separately. I was already planning to purchase more screen protectors however, when I saw this kit, it was a no brainer. What I like about the camera case is that it will fit my X5 with the lens cap attached, without any wiggle room! The screen protectors look like the ones I have, which means I shouldn't have any issues. The lens cap fits my X5 perfectly. If you're looking to purchase any of the 3 accessories in this kit, you may as well get this whole kit.As I write this review, the OEM screen protector from Insta360 is the same price as this entire kit, but only comes with one screen protector. If you were to purchase these accessories separately from Insta360, here's how that would look as of 5-26-2025:Insta360 X5 Screen Protector: $14.99 eachInsta360 X4/X5 Lens Cap: $6.99Insta360 X5 Carry Case: $24.99 (Insta360 does not offer a case similar in size to this kit)Total: $61.96 before taxesAgain, Insta360 does not sell a case similar in size to this one, so if this case is the form factor you want, you may as well get this kit and save alot of money.

This is actually a nice package deal, a semi-hard case, screen protectors, and a lens cover were all inside the case. However, this is marketed as being for the Insta360 X5, and it really fits the camera a little too loose to be a great fit for that camera. I tested the X4 and it fit well, but the X4 is a slightly different size and it was wiggling around inside the case. Also, if you use the utility frame, it will not fit either camera at all. Disappointed, because I just bought the X5, and this case does not fit it well. If you are buying it for the X4, then you are fine, but skip it for the X5.
