We bought 2 file cabinets to match the desk we already have. If you have never assembled furniture before, I would not tackle this as your first project. If you have experience with assembly, you will be fine. For the most part there are no written instructions, just diagrams, which I prefer. There were a few times I had to really study the diagram to make sure I could assemble correctly. One of the drawers did not have the pre-drilled holes exactly right, but it took a matter of a minute or two to drill 3 new pilot holes. I would say it took me 2 hours to assemble, but the second one an hour. The bottom drawer has a wheel attached to it for extra stability. As you can see I felt confident enough in its sturdiness to place our printer on top. I’m happy with these.
