My dogs love this bone! Kept them busy for a long time. Great for aggressive chewers. Long lasting!

I was looking for longer lasting options for my large American bulldog who is a heavy chewer. He is picky on flavor and I wanted something he would love to chew, wouldn’t break easily, was easy to chew without being a choking hazard. These bones are thick, large and hold up well. They don’t break apart making me feel safe to give them. Safety is always a huge concern but with these bones I don’t have to worry.

My dogs (two labradoodles) love these knuckle bones. Package is nice and has a resealable top. Each knuckle bone is individually wrapped which is nice. Would recommend to give to your dog outside, it smells a bit. They seem to help with their breath and dental health. This is the second bag I’ve purchased. Even after the tasty outside bits are all gone, my dogs still like to naw on the bone. Lasts a decent amount of time! I usually throw the bone away when it gets really small so there is no choking or intestinal hazard.

Wow. These knuckle bones are gigantic. More suited for a Wolfhound or a Great Pyrenees. Our Coockapoo and Snoodle took one look at them and said NO WAY. They didn’t even like the taste when they licked them. Can’t believe my daughter in law recommended these since they have two Min Pins. Weird.

My four chihuahuas love them and chew on them for about an hour before they are gone. My pit bull eats one whole in about 5 minutes so I'm not so sure they are worth it for her but for the little ones, they are great!

My dog is a hard chewer on the bones. Doesn't tear up his toys though. Vet recommend I get knuckle bones for him instead of the 6 inch white hard bone filled with stuff inside of them. He was not breaking them but he was grinding on them so hard that I thought he was going to chip a tooth. However, these did not last long. He pretty much ATE these in a couple days! Split in half within an hour.

It says right on the label - for aggressive chewers.....well, my dog chomped off a big chunk and swallowed it before I could do something! Then he didn't eat for 5 days and just slept all day. All the vets around me including emergency vets had no openings to see him AND I was told if he needed surgery to remove the chunk it would cost as much as $7500.00 and no guarantees he'd live through it. I thought he was going to die. I finally got him to a vet on the 6th day who said surgery would "only" be $3500.00. They did an xray and did not see the chunk so determined his stomach bile must have dissolved it enough to pass during the 5 days. I'm actually glad I couldn't get an appointment earlier because I would have ended up doing the surgery and besides the cost, who wants to put their dog through that? Anyway, the bones are in a box in the cupboard - I can't give them away because I wouldn't want to cause harm to another dog - guess I'll just throw them in the trash.

Jack and Pup is a new brand staple in my household. I have a 7 year old rottie who loves bones. I love them as a great teeth cleaning regimen. Over the past 7 years, I have bought a variety of brands from the grocery store, to the big box chains to the local farm supply store. One thing these all had in common was they are coated with a greasy mess and they shard when chewing. Obviously splintering is bad for your 4 legged baby. Oh, and the constipation, struggling to poo and pooh that comes out like white chalk. In February 2018 I tried the Jack and Pup mammoth bone and the package of two knuckle bones. First, there is no greasy chunks of anything that need to be brushed off. Second, when you look at the cut ends, you will see real marrow. I was actually suprised as I was so conditioned to see solid bone like material and it is almost a hallow tube. Third, when my dog is content working on her bone, you can see it slowly desolving versus shardding. I have yet to have her break off a sharp piece. Finally, poo! I know it is a gross subject, but for us paranoid pet parents, poo is important. My little girl has yet to be constipated. She is still on her regular schedule. The consistency is a little dryer than normal, but is the same color. I have not had to break out any of my holistic remedies to get her tummy regulated again. The mammoth bone and two knuckles lasted about 6 weeks. My rottie gets very focused and spends about 2-3 hours when it is brand new and about one hour every night before bed. Right now, a knuckle is lasting about 7-10 days.I would highly recommend Jack and Pup brand to any pet parent who uses bones.
