I bought this as a gift, so haven’t unwrapped the bar of soap. But it’s very very cute and smells great. Can’t wait to give it to my friend with a few other Austen-themed goodies! Note that this is the perfect size for a small gift basket. Read the measurements carefully if you’re putting into a larger gift.

My mistake, of course, but sometimes you assume what things will be. This bar of soap is half the size of a regular bar of soap. It's 2 ounces. (compared to Dial soap, which is 4 ounces) That's a lot of money just for fancy packaging. The wording on the packaging is cute, though: "Let me recommend Bath to you." " Better your social standing one bath at a time." Contains "vegetable soap with glycerine to wash the land off the landed gentry."

VERY SMALL. I bought it as a gag gift -- would not buy it again after seeing the size -- poorly represented in the add. Really uncool by amazaon and the dealer.

This bar of soap smells really good!! The scent of lavender is strong and leaves behind a pleasing aroma. I gave this soap as a gift and they also really loved the scent. 🌿

This was so highly scented that it triggered asthma. It was for a gift but I would never give this to anyone because it was so over-scented. Just by touching the wrapped bar and evelope it stayed on my hands for hours. I have to return but could not even leave it outside on my porch it reeked do badly. Beware if allergies it asthma. Wish it came unscented as the wrap was very pretty.

The soap smells really good. I wish the product were larger. (I did not read the description thoroughly when I purchased this as a present; I was expecting a full-size bar of soap.)
