This is very thick and has good hardware. There aren't any "staples" in the leather - the metal brackets hold the keeper together. Also, this is nice, pliable, and durable leather. Plus, this is really a western curb strap and not some flimsy and lightweight English riding curb. If you ride western and want a good curb strap for a fair price, this is a nice one.

This curb strap is wide, thick and bulky. The keepers are stapled with little metal taps instead of sowen. The overall cut and design of this curb strap is not done by a horseman, its to wide and wouldn't even fit on some bits. This curb strap wouldn't be used on any average size horse, it "maybe" be okay on a draft, but overall it's just too bulky. This is an epic fall in design.
