I have two of these with about 3 feet of overlap. My 40 pound bow occasionally passes through a single layer or goes to the fletchings. My pistol crossbow easily passes through the single layer and possibly double layer. However, it mostly does what we needed it for - to stop arrows from going into the woodlot behind it.

This will stop arrows shot by kids under ten, but just barely. Older kids the arrow will go far enough to damage the vanes.

We have a neighbor that has a fit if my kids get their arrows in the woods, this backstop works great in stopping them for going there.

This doesn't stop practice arrows from a compound bow. It may work for lighter draw or long bows. We ended up using it for our grandson's golf practice instead.

Holes in netting far too large for it's intended use. Using a Genesis youth bow set at 20 pound draw, 4 of the first 5 arrows whistled clean through. One of the five was stopped, but by bending the fletching in the netting which rendered the arrow unusable.Returning.

Most arrows go right through it, even at low poundage. Have to get a piece of canvas to sew on. Disappointing.

Doesn't seem to stop all arrows. Does a decent job and at least slows them down so they are easier to find
