Bought this in August, it can't make ice now. Tried since March 14th 2025 to get help from customer service (sales@kismile.com) with no luck. They have terrible customer service. Once you buy this ice machine you will not get any customer service.I recommend not buying this ice machine, because of the customer service and it did not last longer than 8 months.

I got the Joy Pebble V2.0 Commercial Ice Machine as a gift for my in-laws, and it’s been a fantastic addition to their home. At first glance, the machine seemed small, but it surprised us with its capacity. It held the advertised 55 lbs of ice, and the compact size makes it easy to fit under a counter.Installation was a breeze, and it only took about 3 hours for the machine to fill up with ice. One feature I really appreciated was the ability to connect it to bottled water instead of tap water. It used about a 5-gallon bottle to fill initially, and then only a small amount to maintain the supply. The option to adjust the size of the ice is a nice touch, and the transparent window lets you watch the ice being made—a process that takes about 10 minutes per tray.If you’re in the market for an ice machine, I highly recommend this one. It’s efficient, easy to use, and offers great value for its size and features.

This icemaker is fantastic. I had much discussion with the manufacturer about ice clarity.. my old icemaker made crystal clear ice for the past 25 years with the same water supply. This icemaker would not give me clear ice from my homes water supply even after I added a filter.I tried to use bottled water, but errantly did not wait long enough for the system to draw r the water in. So being frustrated I elected to return the icemaker for a replacement.. my BAD! The replace icemaker was delivered just a few days later and after using water from a bottle, the ice was very clear. This ice maker makes ice so quickly that I believe is the reason it’s not as clear for my Holmes water supply.I feel bad that I returned the previous icemaker and cost the company money. I strongly recommend buying from this vendor as their service and response was terrific.. thanks to Amazon as well. All the people involved were very very helpful and understanding..I second the opinion that number of you made about the instruction manual being very difficult to understand, and with my aging eyes, the print size was so small that it was very difficult to read. Thanks again for all the support and I look forward to using this little icemaker for a long time.

The ice maker was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect shape. The packaging was really sturdy and protected the ice maker well. I was able to set it up without any issues and it started making ice immediately. I have had it working now for over a week on my outdoor (protected) patio kitchen and it works very well. I needed to replace an ice maker that was over 25 years old, and this one was at a great price so I thought I would give it a try. I am very happy so far.

After reading many reviews about this ice maker and several similar models, I finally decided to give it a try. My family and I consume a lot of ice, especially during the summer months. An this ice maker/machine is perfect for us! There are many positive things to say about it, and honestly I can't think of any negative things to say. So I'll just give you a little list of the positive benefits I've seen so far.First, it makes a lot of ice! It holds about 30lbs or so, and it takes roughly 3 gallons of water to make that much ice. It has a flop down mechanism that allows the machine to know when it is full. Once it's full the machine stops producing ice and will restart as soon as you remove some.Like I said, it consumes about 1 gallon of water per 10lbs of ice. I know this, because I currently have it connected to a 4.5 gallon refillable filtered water bottle (the kind you can get from Home Depot). That made it easier to measure it's water usage. The unit features two water type connections. You can either hook it up to your water line (preferable with a filter in-line) or you can use the supplied hose to connect it to a water bottle. The unit has a built in water pump, so when you put the hose in the bottle, it will pump the water up and into the unit.It takes about 20mins for it to produce it's first batch of ice. This is because the unit has to first pre-cool the inside of the unit, before it begins freezing the ice tray. Depending on the room temperature it can take a few minutes. Once it's making ice, the cycle time becomes shorter and shorter as more ice fills the bin. It seems to take about 13 mins from start to finish between batches. So it makes a lot of ice very fast! The supplied drain hose is very important as the ice melts the bin will fill with water unless you have the hose attached. You can either let the water drain into a bucket or connect it to a drain line but you must have the machine higher than whatever you are draining it into. So I raised my unit up about 16" on a platform in my counter so that it can drain more easily into a container I have under the counter. The unit consumes right around 235 watts of power while running. This drops to about 200 watts between cycles when the compressor turns off to allow the ice to slide off the tray and into the bin. Surprisingly there is little to no surge voltage when it restarts. (Usually with appliances that have compressors, there is a high surge in power usage when the compressor starts. Air Conditioners and Refrigerators do this.)The ice it produces is in small cubes that are often still connected to each other because of the way they are formed in the tray. They are easily broken into single cubes. Nothing to worry about. It is a little noisy at first, especially when the ice drops into the bin. It takes a little while to get used to that sound. I recommend not running it at night, the sudden dropping of ice might wake you up. lol Otherwise the unit is pretty quite. It's about as loud as a refrigerator would be during operation. One thing I didn't consider when I bought this was that it does sometimes drop condensation from the bottom of the unit. So I placed aluminum backing tins underneath it, just in case it drips too much.I guess the one negative thing I can think of to say about this machine is that is does produce heat. There is a large vent on the front where heat exhaust is blow through and into the room. It can get pretty warm sometimes. If you have air conditioning you probably won't notice it too much. Kitchens are usually warm anyway, so it's just an extra heat source to consider if it's in your kitchen.Looking at the photos I've posted, you will see the unit is white. It's NOT white, that is just a plastic protective wrap, the unit is stainless steel. :)

This ice machine is ok for just that, making ice. It does NOT, however, store ice. If you don’t use the ice or bag it up within 1-2 hours, it melts and drains out of the machine. We only plug the ice maker in and use it when we have a planned gathering requiring the extra ice. Otherwise it’s an extra ornament in the laundry room. Seems fairly easy to clean. Pretty loud when it drops the ice, which can be startling if you aren’t expecting it. It’s a pretty good size machine, requiring a designated space for storing. Functional for making ice.
