Empire has been making paintball CO2 bottles for many years. (These were called Pure Energy bottles before). The valve is standard for all paintball guns. If your paintball gun uses a CO2 bottle, this tank will work for you. This tank will ship EMPTY. You must have it filled at a sporting goods store, a paintball store, or a personal fill station before use. CO2 tanks to dot not need a gauge to tell how full they are. The liquid CO2 is measured by weight, not pressure. If you have a scale you can measure your 'empty weight' and compare that to the current weight of your tank to see how much CO2 is in it. This bottle is NOT designed to work with Soda systems. This is designed for paintball only. The threads on this bottle do not work with Soda Stream.

I filled the tank for the first time and it leaked everything immediately. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and refilled it but it just leaked again. I was not able to fill it until a month after receiving the tank, so I'm no longer able to return it. It doesn't help thay there's no warranty on these so they can get away with it as I've seen previously in these reviews. Overall this purchase and the 2 fill ups were total wastes of money. Do not buy.

I bought these tanks to work with my Sodastream, in lieu of Sodastream's much more expensive, dedicated chargers. These paintball tanks work perfectly with the adapter I purchased on ebay. Saving money and not being trapped in the Sodastream high-profit-margin cartridge-exchange model. Works for me.

Bought this CO2 tank for use in my SodaStream beverage maker w an add-on sizing ring. Works as described and didn't need to adjust the pin or anything to get the perfect pressure. No added taste, smell, etc. is added to the fizzy water by this canMy biggest question when trying to decide which 12oz tank to get was if it would arrive full or empty... The answer = empty. To fill the tank you have to go to Sports Authority, Dick's or other sporting goods store. (Tip- call in advance to see if they fill CO2 tanks & if the person who does it is in). In general I pay $3-4 for each filling in CA.

I ordered two.-Both were JT not Pure Energy. Not necessarily an issue unless you care about your logos and decals.-1st tank was about two years old from date of manufacture. So a brand new tank has half it's useful life used up out of the box.-2nd tank was one year oldAL CO2 tanks have a 5 year certification life from manufacture (or re-hydro) and one tank is nearly half expired and the other one is 1/5th expired. Really? Yes. Really.I understand that from manufacture to stock to selling can burn a few months - but Amazon and/or the seller is clearly not rotating stock to keep stock as current and as up to date as possible.I recommend now always buying local or to a shop you can talk to to verify reasonably current (few months) cert dates. From the few U.S. manufacturers of gas cylinders it doesn't matter who's label got printed on it. Maybe for valve but for CO2 they're pretty ubiquitous as well. While I like Pure Energy - for CO2 I'm not sure there's any particular value over another US manufacturer. And, hey, like I noted, I got JT tanks on this order anyway!Buy local. Check dates.

It works, it's light, it doesn't get in the way of anything. I will say that most would prefer a larger tank though. 12 Oz doesn't go too far.

Not much to say. They arrived with no issues and filled up just fine. Paintball markers work great. Everything is wonderful. Ok that meets the twenty word limit Bye

This is a good quality tank, I've had other pure energy tanks in the past and never had a problem, basically this is a brand of tanks you can't go wrong with. You can save a little by getting something from Walmart but for me there's no tax on amazon so the price is about the same if not better.
