I would say order a size up. I’m 5’p and weigh 145. I got a medium but had to extend it a bit. Still it was gorgeous!

It would be nice if this was easier to get on and off but I guess looking great doesn't always come easily does it? Fits well and is definitely flattering, I would say it's flattering on most body types honestly. It's really awkward to lace it up when you're wearing it so you pretty much have to do a test run and get it on first and make sure it's comfortable and then go back and get the lacing in the right spots so that the next time you try to wear it you can just hook the front together. I seriously spent most of the time putting this on just trying to loosen up the lacing in the back which is really hard to do when it's on.

This corset is a drama! It looks stunning, no doubt, and feels like a million bucks. But let me tell you, getting into this thing is like trying to squeeze into a medieval torture device.I had to help her maneuver into it, and even then, it was a bit of a wrestling match. She's a strong woman, but this corset is no joke. It's a testament to its quality, but also a reminder of the physical demands of historical fashion.If you're planning to gift this to a loved one, be prepared to be their personal corset assistant!This corset top looks fantastic! It's well-made and captures the renaissance/medieval vibe perfectly. However, be aware that it runs quite small. My wife ordered a size larger than usual, but she still needed my help getting it on.Here's a tip for future wearers: it seems like a two-person job to tighten this corset properly. Make sure the back laces are fully loosened before closing the front hooks. Once closed, have someone tighten the back laces to achieve the desired fit and smooth out any fabric bunching under the back flap.Overall, a beautiful top, but be prepared for the sizing challenge!

I ordered this Kaei&Shi Off the Shoulder Long Sleeve Corset Top at my wife's insistent request because she loves wearing corsets and renaissance looking stuff like this. My wife normally wears an XL in corsets and thankfully the smallest size available for review was XXL, which she said was fine as she could always tighten the string up and it would make putting it on much easier for her, she was so very wrong 😂She thinks the corset is well made and looks fantastic while also keeping the whole renaissance / medieval feel to it. She advises sizing up at least one or more sizes as she had some problems putting this on without my help even after ordering bigger than her normal size. I had a good laugh, at her expense, watching her struggle while lying on the bed trying to fasten the front hooks, then trying to get up once she finally managed to get it closed and fastened 🤣 She says that is a 2-person job to get this kind of corset tightened up properly and that the back laces need to be all the way open when closing the front up and then someone having to tighten the back laces up then straightening the flap underneath so that no skin shows through the back.Overall, it is well made and looks great, and she really likes it, she feels that an up size is really necessary though because if she would have ordered her normal size then she would not have been able to get it on and as it is had a hard time trying to get the 1 size bigger on.
