This is the most impressive radio on the market. To someone that commented on not having a microphone included, no one buying this caliber of radio would use a handheld microphone. If someone does not understand this, they are clueless.

I've been an Icom 'fan boy' since I bought my IC-22A many decades ago. I have acquired MANY radios from every mfg. I have several Collins, 22 Drakes, Swans, RME, National, etc. My first love will always be vacuum tube receivers/restoration.My current 'modern' operating position includes:756PRO I bought in Tokyo the week it was announced. A 7610, a 7300, a 9700, and the TS-890S.The 7300 has been one of my favorites, because it is SIMPLE to use and everything I need.I bought the TS-890S and in all honesty, it makes my (no issues EVER) 7610 look and feel like a toy.I have a bunch of Kenwoods., a R-5000 /matching speaker and a COMPLETE 820 station in storage.This will be the last radio I will ever purchase.Just the 'SWL' Mode is SO awesome, it's a whole different paradigm...…ronN4UE
