Just received this. I desperately need a good lock box for my business, unfortunately I cannot set this up. It is locked and did not come with a key to open it, therefore, I cannot access the QR code to register it.

The key safe is robust and well-built. Its ability to be unlocked either with a code or remotely via the app functions seamlessly. Setting up the app was straightforward—simply add your phone number and receive a one-time PIN, with no complicated registration process involved. Once the safe is linked to the app by scanning the QR code inside, you can easily set the PIN through the app. PIN options include One-Time, Permanent, or Timed settings. The key return slot on the top also appears to be quite secure. Overall, this is an excellent key safe for the price.

I’ve been using this Key Lock Box and I’m really impressed with its functionality. It offers several access options, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, OTP, and a fixed code, which makes it incredibly versatile. It is surprisingly robust and seems very secure. However, I am going to have to go against the general consensus as they have all overlooked a major issue....The frustrating and baffling thing is that the battery compartment is on the outside. Not only that, but it is held in place with magnets. Anyone can open this without effort and just take the batteries out rendering everything but the key completely useless.Logically, it should all be on the inside to prevent anyone from being able to remove them. I have the larger digital lock box of the same brand, and the battery compartment is on the inside. They are always on the inside as this relies on power for the OTP, Wifi, Bluetooth and keypad to work. The battery compartment takes up the same amount of room regardless of which side the entry point is on, so it could have been flipped so that the opening was on the inside. There's plenty of room so it makes no sense why it wasn't done this way in the first place.Now, this isn't an issue if you are keeping this lock box inside your home for yourself but why would you? Even if you wanted to keep things secure from children or others in your own home, they can just constantly remove the batteries, or even take them out and put them back in which resets it, meaning this can only be used with the key anyway. Removing the batteries required me to rescan the QR code which is on the inside of the lockbox, just to get it working again. So you need the keys either way.Mount this externally, and it's the same thing. What's the point? It's main selling point is the non key methods of opening which allow multiple people to use it without keys. Yet, it's Achilles heel is front and center meaning you need to carry the key anyway just in case...The only deterrent for removing the batteries is that they are surprisingly difficult to get out. There are no spring plates on the negative ends of the battery and it's an incredibly tight fit, but it can be done. So far, all of these lockboxes from this brand have baffling major security flaws and poor design choices. I don't get it.It was a 3/5 but the price needs to be taken into account as it's the OTP and the like that pushed that up in the first place and in the end, it's just a key operated lockbox.2/5

I got this for my dad who travels often and often needs to leave a key for the dog walker and tradesmen.Several options for access, extremely sturdy design, very good key deposit mechanism.I'm happy with this so far. I haven't played around with the app yet but I really like that it has numerous ways of getting it open and that items can be securely dropped without needing access.I'm not sure how weatherproof it is, but it will be undercover anyway.
