I got this thinking it would illuminate like the keyboard, allowing light to pass through the letters, but it does not.

This cover is strudy and fits well. It's thicker than most, which affects keythrows, but not significantly. That said, given it is thicker than most, I would only use it with some kind of screen protector cloth, as the rubber will touch the screen of the MacBook. -1 star for the need to protect the screen.I also tested it on a 16" MacBook Pro and it fits perfectly, but it obscures the backlight. I didn't deduct anything for this, as it's not advertised for this computer, but I did want to point this out for anyone who might consider it.

This keyboard cover fits my 15 inch M2 MacBook Air perfectly. The feel is pretty good. It makes the keys a little harder to press, but that’s to be expected. The one thing that I do not like about this keyboard cover is the keys are opaque, so the backlight keyboard does not show through the keys. That’s the thing that will keep me from using this all the time.

It provides excellent protection against dust, spills, and wear. While I prefer the feel of typing without the cover, I prioritize protecting my computer. It does take some time to get used to the feel of typing with the cover on, but overall, it's worth it for the added protection.

Not sure why, but the actual keys are blocked out so my keyboard light doesn't shine through - hard to use in the dark.

Like- black color is nice, no dirt can get under keysDislike- cannot see the light behind the keyboard letters. The only light I can see is the caps lock one.
