This keyboard cover is for an HP laptop, however is fits my Asus 17" laptop with non-backlit keyboard and silver keys. It is impossible to see the keys if any light is on the keyboard. The only keys that do not match up perfectly, BUT STILL WORK, are in the lower row on the right: the left arrow key, and the alt and ctrl to the left of the left arrow. This works great to be able to see my keys in the daytime! I might cut a small hole/slit on the caps lock key the light is in the middle and it is covered by the black key.

Every one I have purchased has fit perfectly and I have purchased 3. They adhere well and keep the sensitivity of touch so there are no mistakes when typing. The letters are very clear and legible. If needed, I will be purchasing this brand of keyboard cover from this seller again!

The keyboard cover fits my 6 or 7 year old 15.6" HP Envy laptop perfectly. There are a couple of loose keys, so I got this cover, basically, just to keep the keys in place. I've found this to be a good solution so far. I took off 2 stars because the areas of the cover where the letters and numbers are positioned are too opaque for the illumination of the keyboard's back lighting, so the keyboard isn't really usable in the dark. I've included images to show what I mean - the back lighting is visible in the spaces between the keys, but you can't actually see the letters and numbers on the keys. I just have to guess about the location of the keys or get up and turn on a light so I can see the letters. I'm planning to sell this laptop, so I won't have it for much longer anyway. In the meantime, I suppose I can live with this cover. I don't recommend it unless (somehow) you don't mind this issue.

I had purchased a new laptop. For some insane reason the keyboard markings were pale gold against a paler gold background. I could only see them if I tipped the keyboard to catch the light. Now since I touch type that wasn't horrible unless I needed to see the keys like print screen, delete, various "special characters" that we have to use for passwords, etc. In other words it was a pain. I saw this keyboard cover on a friend's computer and asked where she found it. I love the cover. It fits exactly over the keys and stays in place but is very easy to remove if I want to wash it. I now have keys I can easily see and my life is happier.

It brings a fun pop of colour to my keyboard. It was easy to apply and seems to stick well to the keys. One key doesn't match the keyboard, but I knew that when I bought it and it's a key I never use anyway. Overall super happy with it and I can actually read the keys now!

It fit the letter keys of my keyboard, but was to big for the rest of my keyboard I had to cut the number part and the top row off so it would fit

So thin. Fits nice. Feels a bit strange at first.The keyboard on the HP envy 17 is silver with white lettering. It's a little difficult to read. This skin helps me to see the letters on the keyboard and the light can still be seen around the keysGlad I got itUPDATE: after a year of use, it is still in perfect condition. Still love this skin. Excellent purchaseUPDATE: my cat snagged a key from my keyboard when he scrambled across the keyboard. It is gone forever but you can't see that with this skin on. And I can still use the button. After 2 years of daily use, I am ordering a new skin. Some of the black has worn off on shift, c, a, e, and other keys. Still functions, just want to replace for visual. Great purchase!

I have to say I never usually write a review so quickly but I have to say this is one of those things not promising magic to happen, so I do believe it is a "either you like it or not" situation. Every thing in the description is 💯 percent on point. As long as you the customer follow the given measurements it's perfection. Obviously we are here choosing such products for much of the same reason. I don't have a lit back keyboard as I rather have the beautiful rose gold laptop. I just needed something with pop and easier to read. This is a perfect choice for me. Honest seller, straight forward. Measure before you buy and there will be a glove fit. Perfect for what it brings,! Highly recommend. Measure and order no regrets .
