Very cheaply made compared to the original equipment on my RV. Doesn’t really fit either. We had to modify to get it attached to RV hoses and brace. I wouldn’t buy again

I got this to replace a bigger name brand regulator that failed after a couple of year with almost no use. This unit feels much heavier than what it replaced, hoping that means better quality overall design and not just thicker cheaper metal. The only issue was the black plastic cap on the top of the unit was crushed, as there is a hole below it I would assume the cap is meant to keep water out of that hole. Only complaint would be the price, this regulator is almost triple the cost of what the best seller is which is the previous one I had.

This is a Longtime Regulator which is a Chinese company started in 2008. It's the same thing as their XD12 model Auto Changeover. Which is fine but if you're looking for detailed information that's where to look. Since Kibow will just try to pull up a biotech company. That being said from what I've seen about Longtime they make a fairly reliable product so I've got no concerns there.I ran this on 2 20# tanks with a generator to test the changeover function and it functioned just fine. I don't monitor any leaks or issues with the regulator and the pressure is correct on the output. After it tested it well I've since moved this to regulate 2 100# tanks I use for one of our propane water heaters. It has functioned well though we have not hit a changeover yet and I don't expect us to for another 6-8 weeks. If it starts to show any issues I'll update.

This KIBOW Two-Stage Auto-Changeover Propane Regulator for RV Camper works great! I do have to remember to check the tanks occasionally so I know when it switches to the other tank, so I can get the first one refilled.

With a current recall on our existing Two-Stage Auto-Changeover Propane Regulator it was more cost efficient and took much less time to purchase KIBOW Two-Stage Auto-Changeover Propane Regulator as a replacement. To tow to the dealer for repair and leave the RV for an undetermined amount of time and to have to pick it back up is two long trips and a lot of time. The dealer recall trip cost far exceeds purchasing my own replacement and dedicating the hour DIY to replace the regulator. We choose to use our existing bracket and modify it for the new regulator because it has two mounting tabs instead of one. The new regulator is also sized to fit smaller propane hoses, but the brass adapters are easy to remove. The regulators threading fit the small end of the propane hoses with no problem. The entire swap took about 45 minutes (tested and verified) and was very easy to do. One hour of labor saved a multi-hour long trip plus all the lay time in between, well worth the purchase.
