This telescope suits my kid’s small hands well, light enough to lug to the beach or park. The screen is a win, no eyepiece squinting, but it blurs with the tiniest shake, useless without a tripod. Even then, the dim display washes out in sunlight, tough to see anything on bright days.It comes with a hard case, mini tripod, and a clear manual, so we were up and running fast. Charges via USB-C, saves pics to a 32GB card, but the quality is grainy, like old VHS tapes, fun for kid play, not for keepsakes. The fixed tripod is a dud, no vertical tilt, so it is stuck aiming straight ahead.Plastic build is fine for gentle use, but I wouldn’t trust it in a tumble. I am torn on recommending it, might hunt for something with optical zoom and sharper images worth saving. That tripod is near pointless too, better off grabbing one with real adjustability separately.

My first impression upon opening the box was to be unpleasantly surprised at the size, because it's tiny (about the size of my hand). Then, after asking my husband to try using it and give me his thoughts... since he loves astronomy and was hoping to use it as a simple teaching tool for our grandchildren... he read the very limited instructions and tried the various functions but was overall disappointed and found that the function buttons are not intuitive. Lit buttons could help, especially since it's primarily made for stargazing, which means using it in low-light conditions, but especially without that, we found ourselves struggling to make it do what we wanted. On the plus side, it seems solidly constructed for its size and has a sharp display screen, plus it comes in a nice zippered case complete with a small tripod (VERY small... about 3"), charging adapter cord (USB to USB-C) and neckstrap. But, after trying to use it, we found one of the biggest issues... if you can even figure out the confusing function buttons... was the lack of focal range. It starts out too zoomed in, so it's hard to even find an object to focus on in the sky, especially since the field of view is so small. This could have been a great product, even at its small size, but we unfortunately found it lacking in too many ways to be usable for us. Definitely not worth the money.

The telescope is super fun, sparks children’s curiosity, has great quality, and comes with a case for storage, which offers excellent protection even though it’s a toy.

I got this digital telescope for my little boy, and it’s been such a fun and amazing experience for both of us. He loves it! We take it with us when we go hiking or exploring outdoors, and it’s become one of our favorite things to do together. The telescope is super easy to use, even for kids, and the image quality is surprisingly good. We’ve spotted birds, squirrels, and even deer from a distance. It makes every little animal feel like a big discovery! My son gets so excited every time he finds something new — and honestly, so do I. It turns our walks into little adventures full of wonder. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and perfect for curious young minds. I also love that it’s digital, because we can take pictures and save memories of what we see.Totally recommend this for any parent who wants to spark a love for nature and exploration in their child. It’s more than just a toy — it’s a whole experience.

Fun toy telescope for older children, needs some adult supervision. It charges quickly and connects to a computer for viewing, just as described. The telescope allows distant viewing, but requires a very stead hand or the tripod, both would be difficult for small children. For what this telescope does, there is a lot packed into it. It can record video or pictures, even reverse for taking a selfie. The hard case and lanyard are thoughtful additions. There is a learning curve to figuring everything out (for me, anyway), but my 12 year old grandson didn't have any problem. At first, I thought this would be a flash-in-the-pan soon discarded toy, but for the child truly interested in using it, it would be a great mini-telescope. It offers quite a great deal for the price. I only gave it 4 stars because I don't think it's for every child, but for that special child that shows an interest in astronomy or just taking pictures of birds or having fun with a neat camera, it is quite a great deal!

I bought this digital telescope as a fun activity to do with my kids, and it’s been such a great experience. We're using it for looking at things during the day—like birds, squirrels, and even faraway houses and trees. The zoom is surprisingly good, and my kids get so excited every time they spot something cool! The screen makes it fun for us to look together instead of one person at a time like with a regular telescope. We’ve even taken pictures of some animals in the backyard—my kids think they’re nature photographers now! It’s light enough to carry around the house or out to the park, and the quality feels solid. If you have curious kids and want to do something fun and different together, this is a great buy. We’ve made so many little discoveries already!
