Yes, this review is marked as me having gotten the axolotl kit for free. But I also bought a second after completing this. The instructions are so incredibly clear, along with a very easy to follow video of each step. I have some experience crocheting, but not so much experience following patterns. The videos helped a ton with that. And the yarn isn't your typical 5-strand yard where the hook grabs some strands but not the others. The yard reminds me of t-shirt material and is very easy to work with. I had one kid claim this little axolotl just as I was finishing the body, So I had to get a second kit for my other kiddo. This is very beginner friendly, comes with literally everything you need, and stayed interesting the entire way through.

Cute little crochet kit. My granddaughter is obsessed with axolotl’s so I got this to make for her. It was pretty easy to make. You may need some intermediate skills to make it. Came with stitch, directory hook, pattern, stitch markers, and your tapestry needle. Everything was ready to go. The yarn was fairly well. Made didn’t separate on me as I was crocheting.

This is my first time crocheting and i've found it easy with this kit. Comes with everything you need, and has an instruction video that is easy to follow. Definitely took me a while to get the hang of it but once I did I found this a lot of fun to make.

I have never crocheted in my life. That being said, I was able to start with this kit!At present, I only have the head half-made, but the kit came with everything I needed to start. The instructions looked insane at first, but the video tutorial offered in the guide is very useful.The yarns included are soft and work well with the hook. The kit itself is well-presented, and would make for a nice gift.

I’ll admit I haven’t finished making my creature yet, but I think I’m on the right track. The kit seems to have everything I need, and the instructions are clear enough for me (I’m a complete crochet novice).My wife, a crochet expert, inspected the contents of the kit and gave her approval; she’s tried teaching me how to crochet in the past and I’ve gotten nowhere, but I think I get it now thanks to the instructions in this kit.

I have never crocheted in my life. I love seals, so I thought this would be a great thing for me. The kit comes with instructions that you can only follow if you know crocheting. So I watched the video. First off, the needle they use in the video is not the one they send you, so that wasn't very helpful. I never made it past the first 3 minutes in the video, I just couldn't grasp it, and they only show you 2x before they continue on, so I had to keep rewatching. I am a crafter so I thought I could figure this out, but I never made it past the first stitch,I just couldn't figure it out. You could buy the items in this kit cheaper than buying the kit, since it didn't really come with instructions and you had to watch a video that you could have found without buying this kit. I have a friend that crochets.. maybe she'll teach me and then I can use this "kit"
