Keep your furniture protected from cat claws with these colorful cat nail covers. Kitty Caps for Cats provide a safe and humane alternative to surgical declawing and help prevent damage to furniture caused by your pet's natural desire to scratch. Kitty Caps are made from a safe and nontoxic natural vinyl resin. They're safe, easy to apply, and stop all snags and scratches. After application, your pet's claws can extend and retract without any disturbance. Kitty Caps will fall off as your cats nails grow and shed, generally 4-8 weeks after application. Package Contents: Each pack includes 40 Kitty Caps, 2 Adhesive Tubes, and 2 Application Tips. Sizing Guide: X-Small (XS): Cats under 5 lbs. Small (S): Cats 6-8 lbs. Medium (M): Cats 9-13 lbs. Large (L): Cats over 13 lbs. Application Instructions: STEP 1: Trim the tip of your cat's nails. Trim just enough to allow the nail cap to fit all the way to the base of the nail. STEP 2: Fill nail caps 1/3 full with adhesive. Gently squeeze the nail cap to evenly distribute the glue and release any air bubbles. If the glue oozes out of the nail cap, you have inserted too much adhesive. Remove some of the glue by squeezing it onto a paper towel. STEP 3: Extend nails by gently pressing thumb on top with index finger on bottom of paw -- slide nail caps onto nail. STEP 4: Observe cat for five minutes before release. You can play with your cat or feed some of kitty's favorite food to distract for a few minutes. I got these kitty nail caps to help protect my furniture and prevent accidental scratches, and overall, they work well! Overall, a solid product for keeping your cat’s claws covered while maintaining comfort. Just a bit of a learning curve at first, but worth it in the long run!

Great product for more than advertised. Fantastic bang for the buck and adds a unique elegance to your furry family member. Our little guy was scratching the fire out of himself. He's a kitten rescue so who knows what he may have come home with. Regardless, with vet supervision, tried diet and costly prescriptions to little avail. I noticed on a later visit that the vet cat roaming the waiting room was wearing these to save their furniture. Thought i'd try them for the same reason only to discover that scratching himself now left practically no damage to himself. Skin is clear, fur grew back, carpet/furniture is safe.Easy to apply depending on your pets temperament and most stay on over a month, some are on month two now. I tried to remove one for a trim and reapplication with no luck - once they're on, they're on till the claw grows out.

Helped to prevent the new kitten fromScratching where they were not supposed too scratch. They came with a little tube of nail glue to help adhere to mail without harming growth of claw. Cat did not seem to be bothered by them, but we got a kick out of the cute colors. As the nail grew, they eventually popped off and that was notice to put on new ones. Each set lasted several weeks.

i added a picture of what this little man has done to my wall, and that is exactly why i needed these. he would launch himself on the wall and scratch up my paint, also has put holes in my curtain and bed comforter.he’s only had these on for the day and they already make a huge difference. he’s a very hyper playful cat so he uses his nails for everything while running and playing, and these have already helped so much like i said.i definitely recommend these over de-clawing your cats, they do work.now all i need to see is if they last as long as they say. but so far they’re great.

I was applying the kitty caps on my cat and then spilled some of the adhesive. I was cleaning it and then got a strong odor from the adhesive. Then it literally started to smoke. Just like the another review stated, (and I didn’t think it would smoke up) fumes started to appear when I was cleaning up the spill. I touched it when cleaning and washed my hands with warm water and soap as stated when it gets on your skin. I know it’ll take a couple washes but the adhesive shouldn’t release fumes. I don’t know what caused it (contact with my skin? or napkin used with clean up?) but it shouldn’t happen if it’s advertised as a safe product for cats.

These are great. If or once your cat allows you to put them on. Good luck with that part (my advice is to wear gloves and have a friend help you). They stay on for 2-3 weeks, or sooner as my cat bites them all the time to loosen them up and make them come off quicker. With them on the cat’s claws won’t scratch you, but they also render the cat unable to balance much so it can’t jump or climb at all (which has its benefits to the furniture) however I do feel a bit guilty for making the cat grounded completely and she’s not too thrilled with me either for doing so. I attempted to put a few ones on last night cause the first ones fell off and it was like the cat got possessed by the devil and tried to kill me before it bolted away and started to hand on the ceiling.......too bad cause they looked fabulous.
