We have a smaller inflatable hot tub, and this has come in handy for the simple job of cleaning the sides and floors. While we keep a cover over our hut tub most days, we still get leaves and dirt etc inside. We are good at keeping our tub clean but this handheld unit has definitely made life easier and me sanitary.Love that its rechargeable and have used it about 4 times now on a single charge but not for long periods of time.Love that its compact and lightweight so I actually use it more often then I would have done regular scrubbing by hand in the hot tub.Not sure how it would hold up on a larger above ground pool as that's alot more space to clean but for us it cleans our small hot tub great!. We have also used it for the doggie pool sides and bottoms.

I don't have a pool, but I do have a hot tub, and there's always, always a collection of sand and grit that collects in the seats and in the bottom of the tub. I have been looking for a smaller handheld vacuum to solve this issue for a while and I'm glad I stumbled into this unit.Out of the box I had no problem figuring out how to charge it, hook up the handles, and head out to the hot tub to do some vacuumingOne thing that caught me by surprise is how well the water-sensing on/off system worked. You dip it in the water, it starts up. Pull it out, and it stops in just a few moments. I don't think it could be any easier.I had no problem sucking up all the gunk sitting on the bottom of my tubOne other thing worth noting - I don't think you can use it to clean up really fine stuff, eg, if you have a really fine algae or really fine dirt. The bag in it is a mesh bag and while it's great for sand and larger particles, I don't think it would catch really tiny stuff.

This pool vacuum works well in small pools or other small bodies of water. The size of the vacuum makes it easy to hold and manage whilst cleaning. I like that it's compact and it stretches out really well, and itβs not too heavy either. One thing to note is that the suction power for this vacuum is not the strongest. It'll get the job done, but maybe miss out on a few things here and there.

The design on this is weird. There is a water sensor on top of the unit. Once water hits it, the vacuum turns on. And then automatically turns off once water no longer touches it. So in effect it picks stuff up from the ground, and then when you pull it out of the pool, the vacuum turns off as soon as the sensor is out of the water. The flap in the canister opens and stuff falls right out of the can, which is still in the water at this point. So far I haven't figured out a way to pull the vacuum out of the water while maintaining all the debris inside it.

We have a pool cleaning robot. But, sometimes, you donβt want to go to all that trouble. Sometimes you just have a few people coming over and you just want to quickly vacuum up the sand, dirt and small leaves that find their way into the pool. My wife is going to love being able to use this rechargeable, battery operated vacuum this Summer. The pole seemed a little flimsy. Honestly, I through it away. But, it has those standard little button clips that your skimmer basket pole fits on. So, might as well make the vacuum more compact for storage and just pop it on the skimmer pole when you want to use it. Itβs compact, seems easy to operate and cleverly designed. I doubt it will suck up a ton of large leaves and debris. But, I think itβs going to be great to use in between the vacuum robot uses.

I am quite pleasantly surprised how well this works. After years of fighting hoses and patiently priming them to get a few bits out of the pool before we use it (yes these are the problems that plague my life) I caved and gave this handheld vacuum a try. This just works and pulls through so much more water than I ever expected. It has a small opening but suction is equivalent to the 3hp dedicated vacuum pump. The capacity leaves a bit to be desired, but as long as you arenβt trying to clean the pool monthly, this should be more than sufficient.

This KOKIDO rechargeable handheld vacuum set is perfect for smaller pools or hot tubs. This should not be a replacement for a full vacuum system as it won't get heavy items or leaves and such, but works perfectly for sand and smaller debris. The fact that it's handheld means you can get in with it and get some of the nooks and areas that seem to be harder to reach while outside and using the handle. Very light outside of the water, but even lighter and easier once in the water. Being rechargeable means no cords, and no batteries to replace every time you go to use it. The charge seems to last a long time, and you can plug it in after using, it will be ready to go the next time. Includes a corner brush which helps to pick up stuff that seems to accumulate in the corners. I have found this to be excellent for my needs.

Got the KOKIDO XV110 to hit those tricky spots my regular pool vac misses, and itβs been a solid addition for opening the season. Set it up in minutes, charged it quick, and it was ready to roll. The suctionβs decent for light stuffβsand, small leavesβbut the filter bagβs tiny, so donβt expect it to tackle big messes. Lightweight, easy to maneuver with the pole, and the two brush heads are handy for corners. Great for quick touch-ups in my pool, but definitely not a heavy-duty cleaner. Happy with it for what it is!
