These cleats will replace older, worn out cleats providing stability and traction in slick terrain. We recommend you tighten these before, during and after fishing to ensure they do not come loose in the field.

I replaced some of the aluminum hex discs on my boots with theses. I just returned from a steelhead trip and was very happy with the traction.

These spikes, while well made, do NOT properly fit the Stabil Maxx2 cleats. These have a 1/4-28 size thread. The Stabil Maxx2 cleats use a metric 6mm-1.00 thread which is "very close but no cigar". The Korker studs will screw part way into the Maxx2 until the threads start to bind. You can keep on turning to try and force them, but they WILL tear loose the threaded insert in the Maxx2 before you can get then all the way in. Yes you can use washers as another reply suggests, but the stud is then only part way screwed in and you will likely have them come loose. I too cannot get new spikes for the Stabils and will be buying some Korkers for next year. The Stabil studs are inferior with their soft metal screw used as a stud; they wear out way too quickly. I want the better design that these Korker studs represent.

Easy to install and they work really well at stopping you from slipping while wading. Make sure to use threadlock on them when installing or else they will loosen up and fall out. I used the blue type and haven't had any more issues of them falling out.

The spikes are a direct fit and easy to install using a 3/8” nut drive.Removing old rusted spikes is made much easier by spraying WD30 on them and allowed to soak for a few minutes

Easy to replace worn spikes on the bottom of your boots without having to buy a new pair. Small socket wrench takes out the old one and tighten down the new one.

Korkers are the best anti-slip traction add-on that money can buy. No falls on ice since my original purchase - they just grip! The carbide spikes are just a well thought out add-on. FYI - do not walk on any floor with Korkers that your spouse really likes. If you do she won’t like you as much as she did before you perforated her floors.

Grips slimmy rocks ok, but not that much better than the smaller spikes. The spikes are so tall that they throw off your balance. Spikes will not stay tightened, lost 7. Used loctie blue, seem to work

These are the best. Have had them in my Neos boots for there years now and show very little wear. I wear the boots a lot in the winter, they crab onto the ice and snow with no chance of slipping. Do not walk inside on concreate floors they will be a little slippery. Will leave marks on ceramic tile and tear up carpeting.

These threaded spikes are exclusively for the Korkers wading sandals. I have the older version of the Korkers wading boot and was hoping to use these spikes for refurbishing my removable boot soles, since they are no longer available. Silly me. I have found a use for them. These are good, long lasting spikes for use on Korkers wading sandals only. The threads on these spikes are close enough to a 1/4-28 thread to allow other usages with the appropriate knowledge. The threads on the spikes do not allow for a thread into a rubber or polypropylene sole on a wading boot, unless, you can drill through the sole of a removable type sole and nut the spike from the back with the aforementioned 1/4-20 nut. Spike shaft is short, so, a cut away of the outer sole is required to do this.
