Bought for my 2002 Yukon XL 1500 directly from Kryptonite. I tried the Moog inner tie rods before that which are thicker than stock, but those bent pretty quickly too. These things are insanely beefy. I haven't had to warranty them out and I doubt I'll ever have to. The truck is a simple 2" lift overlanding build with extended travel front CV axles, torsion bar lift, polyurethane bushing everything, Spohn rear end, and heavy duty/towing rear springs. I'm definitely not jumping this truck. That said, because it is a torsion bar lift instead of a suspension drop, the tie rod angle is somewhat extreme, and the inner tie rod boots tore pretty easily despite regular greasing and the grease relief valve. I will be replacing the boots sooner or later, which Kryptonite does sell on their own.

Make sure you have an adjustable wrench larger than 2” to install.Construction is rock solid. Would recommend anything this brand offers.

My husband blew out his tie rod taking his truck up a trail he had no business going up. So when searching for replacement parts I told him we needed to upgrade to better parts as this will happen again in the future. Let me tell you… these are BEEFY. If he breaks these I give up! They shipped pretty fast too! Looking forward to replacing other parts in the front end when it breaks the weaker points around these babies!

Love Kryptonite parts. They are so beefy and rugged looking too. Was easy to install and comes with a lifetime guarantee. Can't go wrong with that.

The picture sums up everything, easy install. Your old ones may take some effort to get off of they haven't been replaced

Very satisfied with them. Just by feeling them you can tell they're high quality. They're about 5x as thick as the factory ones and about 5x as heavy. You can tell they'll last a long time.. Just make sure you get the tool to tighten them or get a 2" wrench so you can tighten them up to the center link.
