This great educational display makes the perfect gift for children, students and collectors. This American made display features of vial of dirt showing the K-T boundary. This is the dirt that demonstrates the extinction of the dinosaurs. K stands for the Cretaceous period and T stands for the Tertiary period (65.5 million years ago). This dirt shows the change from K to T and is the great extinction of the dinosaurs. The display is tension held with four pins that can be easily pulled to remove the vial of K-T dirt. The information card discusses the dinosaur extinction and significance of the K-T boundary. It measures 6" wide x 8" tall x 1" deep and is glass front.
