Installed this for the rear wheel of a Land Rover LR2. It fit well and was easy to install with the propper tools. I was very glad this one came with the retainer ring. I had ordered another bearing from a different vendor on this site that sent just the bearing even though the description stated it would have the ring.

Replaced both front wheel bearings and after 2 months of regular easy city driving (maybe 1500km), drivers side completely broke between the flange and hub centric ring part. Month later and the other side did the same. The bearing wearing prematurely would be one thing but this is a safety hazard, once that part breaks the only thing keeping your wheel attached to the truck is your brakes. Luckily both broke at low speeds, could be very bad at higher speeds.

I have installed this bearing around a month ago because my previous OEM bearing gave out.I figured from the description that this set would hold much much longer - but I was wrong. The bearing gave out after a month.I think I will stick to OEM.

The wheel bearing hub assembly fit just right on the rear axle no issues, on my MK5 GTI. Only thing I did not like was the packaging on one wheel bearing box was not secured properly. Which would make the wheel bearings move around while handling during shipment. A small issue one but that is the only reason I have it a 4 star. The other pakage was tightly packed.And No it does not come with the axle bolt, does coke with the torque instructions on VW says is a onetime use, but you can get that from the dealer for less than $10.Note from Kugel website "All our bearings are backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects."Thank you Kugel,
