He’s very nice and quite heavy. He is missing some glittered stripes on one arm and his rope is coming unglued in the back. Love the colors and other than glue issues, well made. The condition of the box, packing and glue issues may make me hesitant to gift due to concerns of being used rather than a new item but he is a remembrance piece in honor of my late mother so I am fine with it.

Great nutcracker but arrived damaged. I was able to glue pieces back on and looks perfect. He’s fabulous! Colors are gorgeous, workmanship is great!

It was a gift and she loves it. There were a few small issues that I had to fix because I didn't want to return a second time. These need to be packaged with more padding. The first one came with broken pieces in the box.***11/2023 UPDATE***This was my first purchase of a Kurt Adler Nutcracker and I have purchased 9 others since then because My Sister absolutely LOVES them! They are all well crafted with beautiful details. When she sees them, her eyes light up like a childs on Christmas morning-after opening the one gift they weren't expecting but are overjoyed to receive. If you know someone(like my sister) who collects Nutcracker's You MUST gift them at least one of these gorgeous Nutcracker's and I guarantee it'll put a smile on their face that's brighter than the star on your tree!

So I have many Kurt adler’s, most collections. This one is Hollywood and let me tell you if there were more versions such as different colors of this one I would buy them all. The textures and details exceed, the colors, the fabrics, the placement of items- all exceed. It’s a great nutcracker. Look forward to more of this caliber! I’m not a Steinberg collector- out of my budget. This is nicer than some of those
