This KVM switch has replaced to separate switches (one HDMI and one USB) that I have had for many years to switch between two computers using a single keyboard/mouse combo and a single monitor. At the time having two separate switches and pushing two buttons was a lot more economiy than any KVM switch available. No more though. I replaced the two with this single switch in less than a minute and everything is working perfectly. KVM switches are much more economical now and with this switch I am also able to have additional USB equipment shared between the two computers. The switch comes with a powered USB-C port as well so I could connect an external HD drive requiring additional power as well.Furthermore, as part of the switch two HDMi cables and USB cables are provided so you can quickly hook up your equipment without needing to purchase additional cables.

The Setup:I have 2 laptops connected via hdmi and usb ports and they share a 34 inch ultrawide monitor via the switch's hdmi connection and a wireless keyboard and mouse combo via one of the switch's shared usb ports.Performace:Everything worked exactly as advertized. Both laptops display at different rates based on their respective refresh and resolution rates, which is to be expected. My older laptop does not have a designated video card so the refresh rate is limited to 60hz, so cannot take advantage of the full resolution of my 34" ultrawide monitor. But my new laptop can do 144 hz easily. The KVM switch handles both thoses feeds well and switches between the 2 with very little lag. Very easy and intuitive to install. I did not need to read instructions. Size wize, for all the functions and features that it provides it is relatively small. See specs for exact numbers.Whats in the box:2 hdmi cables2 usb cablesKvm switchType c to usb cable - to power the switchSo everything you need is includedStrictly Nitpicking here:- no 3.5mm audio input/output- no Display portto share between the 2 laptops.Overall:The build quality is very good. Aluminum. It should last. Most likely will have to move on from the hdmi tech first before it fails. For the price it is a very good value. Very happy overall

This KVM switch is nicely made and compact. It has an aluminum body and faceplates. I use it to switch between my work laptop and personal gaming desktop. Before this i constantly had to plug and unplug each machine to my monitor and input devices. Everything needed was provided between the HDMIs cables, and USBs to tie into each machine. Operating it is as simple as clicking the single button on top of the unit. Switching across machines is fast. I'm using a Dell 27" 1440P monitor, and a Corsair Strafe keyboard and mouse. I can still use my keyboard's USB port to transfer files. I'll be sure to update this if any issues arise. Great for those of us who WFH.

This is the first KVM switch I've had, but I only wish I had gotten one sooner. It would've made swapping computers so much easier! My only complaints are that having wires on the front and back of it is a bit awkward with my setup. I would've been better suited with one with the cords going to and from the back and sides. The cords that come with it are very short. You'll probably have to have your computers more or less right next to each other. I have mine probably 3'-4' apart, and the cords barely reached. The switch itself is in the floor, to be able to reach both PCs, though. There also isn't a wall charger to plug the USB A to C cord in. Thankfully, I had a spare I hadn't thrown out yet, but it may possibly work without it? I'm not entirely sure on that. It lit up before I plugged in the USB C into it.Overall, I am very pleased with this find. It's just what I needed without knowing I needed it!

I use 2 laptops that share a 42" monitor with this KVM switch. I also share a wireless mouse and wired keyboard for USB devices. What I found out is, for one of my laptops, I had to use an 8K HDMI cable just so it could project on to the 42" monitor.. I'm guessing that's related to how fast and bandwidth needed to get through the switch over to the monitor. The other laptop was fine using the HDMI cable that came with this KVM switch. I don't know if this is a switch issue or a laptop issue, but just something to note. It's really easy to install. You have 2 HMDI inputs and one HDMI output for wherever you want to project your video to that both devices share. The 4 USB connectors lined up together on the KVM switch are the USB devices you want both of your computers to share. Next to each HDMI outlet is a USB one for the specific computer you need to connect to, so it registers your USB devices through the switch to your computer.Overall, it functions as it should. The HDMI transmission I'm not sure about, but with a fast enough cable, I've been able to make everything work. Press of a button on top and you switch in between computers. Your windows may or may not get screwed when switching, so just note that when switching. But it works.

Reasonable device, it does the job, I did have my screen flicker off a couple of times, but this could be due to HDMI cable quality or similar, rather than inherent fault in the device. I'm not sure how many years it'll last, but not bad for the price.

It’s a KVM switch—it works as expected. I’m using it to switch between two computers with a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse, and it does the job without issue. Switching takes a couple of seconds (2–5 seconds as advertised), and everything stays stable once connected. One thing to note: it doesn’t come with a power adapter, so make sure you have a 5V USB power source available, especially if you plan to use USB peripherals like external drives or webcams. Also, switching is manual only—there’s no hotkey support.

At under $30, this was an amazing value as it included not only the KVM switch but two HDMI cables and two USB cables--everything needed to get it set up (note that you will need your own USB power supply if you want to power anything like a hard drive). It's very lightweight compared to the clunker I had from 15 years ago, so I found that I needed to tape it down with some double sided foam tape to keep it from floating above the desk, propped up by the rigidity of the cables connected to it.

Made a difference to my desk setup. Using two systems regularly and this lets me flick between them without moving anything around. No lag when typing or using the mouse. Video output looks clean—no flickers or drops when swapping over. Plugged everything in once and haven’t had to touch the wiring since. Keeps the cables tidy and reduces clutter. Switching takes about a second or two, which is fine for what I need. Everything connected smoothly and hasn’t disconnected once. Haven’t had to reset or unplug to get it to work, which is usually the case with similar gear. Solid bit of kit.
