KYB is the brand to go when you need to replace your struts. It's way better than oem or Gabriel/Monroe (brand new) and makes a huge difference when replacing your old ones. It's a really good brand with a medium budget.

We received the open box struts. Upon receiving, there is no protection stuff such as peanut or bubble wrap just a bare strut, without anything else. Besides, the hold down bracket was missing, which to protect struts shaft. When we removed the stock one and compared this kyb and found the new kyb struts are 2.5 inches longer than Toyota oem, which is impossible to install, don't waste money and time on these. Will buy with Rock auto

I bought these to replace my worn oem struts and shocks on a 13 Corolla S 1.8. After installing these the ride was still just as bouncy as before. These offer very little dampening. We removed these parts and installed shocks and struts from the OEM XRS 2.4. It’s perfect. The 2.4 has a higher dampening factor because of the heavier front end, thus allowing for even more dampening on the 1.8l. The oem part numbers for the 2.4 ARE different than the 1.8.
