These were direct OEM replacements for the rear shocks on my 2009 M35. Make sure you buy the bushing kit to replace the worn ones from your old shocks. If you are going through the effort of replacing them yourself, you might as well replace everything at once. Otherwise, you will probably still have squeaking and popping coming from your rear suspension if you had it before. If you didnt have it before, you probably will after re-using the old bushings.The ride quality feels the same to me, but Im not nit picky about that either. I expect to get a few years of good service out of these as I know KYB makes excellent OEM replacements.

The dealer is so expensive for shocks and struts so...Tried the KYB's. 100% satisfied.I had 100K on my car so it was time for new shocks.I am amazed how much stable and how much the handling has improved.You can't beat the value.They are slightly stiffer than stock sport shocks.I think they are perfect. Firm but smooth.I wouldn't get the sport version due to the perfect firmness of these.
