Incorrect P/N given for 2002 mercedes SLK230. This is front shock 4731, rear is 4732. Verified this on KYB website. Unknowingly installed on wrong location, difficult to install and wore out rubber bumpers within 1000miles.

My car rides much tighter, turns and handles much better. I went with the kyb over billstein because of the price point, and previous experience with them.

Bought these for my wife's car and they work great. It took a couple of weeks for them to break in and for the ride to smooth out some. Initially, they were very bouncy but smoothed right out and have worked great ever since.

Specs say smooth ride not true. Ride is very harsh race car like. These shocks are much worse than my old shocks that have 120000 miles on them. I have already put my old shocks back on. Car rides much smoother and handels just as well with old shocks. I do not recommend these shocks for everyday use.
